How to Import Data In Excel by Link into PowerPoint

You can link data from a saved Excel worksheet to your PowerPoint presentation if you're using PowerPoint 2013 or later. As a result, if the data in the worksheet changes, you can quickly update it in your PowerPoint presentation.

Copy and Pasted(Unlinked) Excel Data in PowerPoint

The Excel data will not be linked to your PowerPoint presentation in this case. You copy and paste data from an Excel worksheet into your presentation. The worksheet does not automatically send updates to PowerPoint.

	Use Destination Styles to copy the data as a PowerPoint table in the presentation format.
	Maintain Source Formatting to copy the Excel data as a PowerPoint table in the worksheet format.
	Embed to save the data as information that can be edited later in Excel.
	To copy the data as a picture that cannot be edited in Excel.
	Keep Text Only if you want to copy all of the data as a single text box.
